Joop van Waarden has revised his transcription of the Epistulae and Carmina in Lütjohann’s edition. It is freely available at the Propylaeum Portal on the Sidonius Apollinaris: Lütjohann’s Text page.
Corrections are based on a comparison, powered by Anthropic Claude Opus 4.8, of version 2 of the transcription (dated 18 September 2007) with the TEI-XML edition of MGH AA8, now available in openMGH. Corrections have been made to the running text and are recapitulated in footnotes for ease of use.
